England goalscorer Eniola Aluko and goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlain spoke to FATV after Hope Powell’s side booked their place in the Cyprus Cup final with victory over New Zealand.
Aluko’s strike put her side 2-1 up after Ellen White had equalised Amber Hearn’s early opener and Toni Duggan completed the scoring in the final minute.
This win sets up a clash with Olympic bronze medallists Canada on Wednesday.
Aluko said: “Mentally, it was very important for us to stick to the game plan.
“We frustrated New Zealand and [in] the second half we got the goals and it shows a winning mentality within the team.”
