Eniola Aluko has withdrawn from the England Women’s squad for the upcoming Cyprus Cup campaign due to her legal studies.

Birmingham City’s new recruit has been replaced by her club-mate Rachel Williams.

England will take on Finland (28 February), Switzerland (1 March) and France (4 March) in this annual friendly tournament which Hope Powell is using as preparation for March’s Euro 2013 qualifier in Croatia.

During the Cyprus Cup Fara WilliamsRachel Unitt and Casey Stoney could all earn their 100th international cap.

“The priority is to qualify for the Euros and our next qualifier is approaching, so the Cyprus Cup will give us a great opportunity to prepare for that game,” said National Coach Powell.
