Rachel Brown has been ruled out of England’s game in France with a knee injury.

The Everton goalkeeper sustained the injury against Lincoln Ladies on 23 September.

She was assessed by England’s medical team when the squad met up earlier this week and has been rendered unfit to play any part in the Three Lions’ final game of 2012.

Brown is the second player to withdraw from the squad with a knee complaint after Claire Rafferty was ruled out on Tuesday.

The remaining 20 players will travel to Paris on Friday morning.
