Sue Smith appeared for England three times in 2011, bringing her caps total up to 90.

The winger appeared in the first match of the year, against Italy in the Cyprus Cup, which was her namesake Kelly Smith’s 100th cap.

Smith also turned out against Scotland in the same competition before scoring both goals in the 2-0 victory over South Korea.

Smith will be looking forward to a fresh start in 2012, having recently signed for Doncaster Rovers Belles.
