A regular fixture in the England squad for the last 14 years, Rachel Brown’s career has recently been derailed by a recurring shoulder injury, though she did travel to Germany as part of England's World Cup squad.

When fit, though, she is certainly in contention for a starting place and she donned the No.1 jersey for the only time this year away to Serbia in September. A composed figure between the sticks, there was little Brown could do to prevent either of Serbia’s two goals, the first of which was a wonderful free-kick from Danka Podovac.

Brown was called up to the last squad, for the home game against Serbia, but injury once again ruled her out.  With a few months until the next international fixture, Brown will be hoping to recover fully to put herself back in the England frame.
