The Boston Breakers right-back missed just one game out of 14 this year, the UEFA Euro 2013 qualifier away to Serbia in September, highlighting her importance to Hope Powell’s team.

Her performances were of a consistent standard all year but she really excelled herself during the World Cup by starting every game, setting up Jill Scott for England’s equaliser and being named Player of the Match. She was also named, alongside Jill, in the FIFA All-Star team after the tournament.
