95 Days To Go

Sir Bobby leads the Three Lions at Italia '90.

There are few football men who are loved universally, regardless of nationality or allegiance, but the late Sir Bobby Robson is one of them.

The County Durham-born inside-forward enjoyed a successful playing career lasting almost 20 years, but it was as the manager of eight European clubs and the England national team that he created a truly unforgettable legacy.

His 95 games in charge of the Three Lions saw him lead Gazza and co to the 1990 World Cup semi-final – a feat unequalled by an England manager on foreign soil – and for that he will always have a special place in the hearts of all England fans.
