Join englandfans for your best chance get World Cup tickets

England have qualified for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and many England supporters will be thinking about making the journey to support their team next summer.

The best way to follow Fabio Capello's men is to become a member of englandfans, the official England supporters club.

There are two levels of membership, the first provides priority access to England home matches. The second, englandfans+, additionally provides access to away matches and tournament tickets. To apply for tickets to the World Cup, supporters will need to join englandfans+.

Membership of englandfans+ is capped at 30,000 to provide a realistic chance to those members of being successful when they apply. There are currently just over 25,000 members of englandfans+.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the World Cup will be allocated to members based on either loyalty (attendance at matches during the last three and a half years) or through a random ballot for those members that have not been guaranteed tickets through loyalty. The allocation split is 70% of tickets based on loyalty and 30% of tickets will be available for the ballot. The only requirement for entry into the ballot is that they have attended one match during the 2008-2010 campaign.

During the 2008-2010 englandfans+ membership cycle, all members who have wished to attend an away match have been able to access tickets.

The membership fee for englandfans is £50 for adults and £30 for U16s.

The membership fee for englandfans+ is £70 for adults and £40 for U16s.

The current membership period ends on 11 July 2010.
