Franco Baldini confirms England's World Cup base has not yet been chosen.
England General Manager Franco Baldini today explained that a decision on which hotel will be England’s base camp in South Africa will not be made for several weeks.
Baldini said: “We have a number of different hotels which we are currently considering and we have to visit South Africa again with Fabio, before we choose.
“There are reports and comments that a hotel in the Rustenburg area is our choice, but it is only one of the hotels available to us. This is not necessarily our preferred option.
“Fabio and I visited several hotels during the confederations cup which we are considering as our base for the World Cup and we will go back to look again before deciding – possibly around the time of the World Cup draw.
“We have to consider the quality of the training facilities available, geographical location and suitability of the hotel.”
