After seeing them beat Austria on Sunday, Fabio Capello says he is keen to learn as much as he can about Croatia.
After seeing Croatia open their Euro 2008 account with a win over co-hosts Austria on Sunday, Fabio Capello says he is eager to learn as much about England's World Cup Qualifying opponents as he can.
Slaven Bilic's side opened the scoring after just four minutes through a Luka Modric penalty, but then were put under pressure by Austria for the remainder of the game.
Capello said: "Croatia are a very strong team because they play together a lot.
"I have to know everything about them, all their secrets. I am watching their style, the set-pieces and also the movement of the team when they have the ball and when they don't.
"Croatia are a very very strong team," Capello commented. "They passed a lot, defended well and their counter attacks are very, very dangerous."
Capello also spoke of his choice for England captain, with Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, David Beckham and Gareth Barry all having donned the armband under the Italian.
Asked if he had decided on his captain, Capello told Sky Sports News: "No. I have more days more to think. I have two candidates to be captain.
"I think (I will decide) in August, ten days before the start of the new season."
