England should be guaranteed a stern test from the USA on Wednesday evening, with Head Coach Bob Bradley admitting that they plan to emerge from their trip to Wembley with a win.

The Three Lions go into their third game under the charge of Fabio Capello hoping to pick up a second successive home win following the victory over Switzerland in February, but will come up against an American team who are focused on claiming a famous scalp at the new Wembley.

“Are we expecting to win?” asked Bradley. “We’ve come with the idea of competing with a good team and finding a way to win, so I suppose the answer is yes.

“But Capello is a great manager. Certainly his understanding of the game and his work for a number of different teams will pay off for England.

“It is only his third game and there is always a period of adjustment to a new manager's ways of doing things.''

Bradley and Capello have previously crossed paths before and the England Manager is someone that he holds in high esteem given his achievements in the game.

“I have met him a few times over the years,” revealed Bradley.

“The first was when he was coaching AC Milan and they had a tour of the US.

“Then I had a university team that I took to Milan. It was March 1994 - a long time ago and they had quite some team, but I had a chance to watch Milan train and try to apply some of the things I saw.”
