As England prepare for their first training session since joining up as a squad, two players are set to miss training as a precautionary measure ahead of the games with Austria and Croatia.
Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has a minor ankle complaint and will be rested as a precaution, but is expected to train on Thursday.
Owen Hargreaves is currently in the process of recovering from a long-term injury and having discussed it with Manchester United, it was felt best that he would remain with his club for treatment.
The 26-year-old midfielder will remain there until the weekend, as he works on his fitness ahead of the Euro 2008 qualifier with Croatia at Wembley next Wednesday.
