Exclusive documentary behind-the-scenes with the Young Lions to be screened ESPN
With the first leg of England Under-21s crunch Euro 2013 play-off against Serbia fast approaching, ESPN will screen an exclusive FATV documentary from inside the Young Lions camp.
Since the qualification campaign for Israel started 13 months ago, the cameras have captured some great moments with Stuart Pearce’s squad.
See who won the nearest the pin competition on a golf course in Suffolk, which player is top-man at the keepy-uppy challenge, who’s a budding Jamie Oliver and what Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain thought about his hat-trick in Reykjavik.
From away trips to places like Norway, Belgium and Azerbaijan, to home games in Watford, Colchester and Middlesbrough, the England team’s spirit and camaraderie has shone through both on and off the pitch.
And it’s all come down to these two games against Serbia, first in Norwich on Friday, then away in Krusevac next Tuesday.
So, to get you in the mood, check out ESPN on Thursday afternoon at 2.45pm to experience life with England’s Under-21s on their road to the play-offs.
If you miss it on Thursday, the show will be repeated again on Friday at 12.45pm, just hours before kick-off at Carrow Road. The game will also be screened live on ESPN.
