Serbia U21s squad confirmed for Euro 2013 play-off against England

Serbia Under-21s coach Aleksandar Jankovic has named a 23-man squad for their Euro 2013 play-off against England.

Stuart Pearce's young Lions, who topped Group 8 in Qualifying, take on the Group 4 winners in a two-legged knockout for a place in the Finals in Israel next summer.

Red Star Belgrade, giants of Serbian football and winners of the European Cup in 1991, are heavily represented. Jankovic, who started is playing career at Red Star and is now their head coach, has included seven of his club side in his international selection.

Current Serbian SuperLiga champions, Partizan Belgrade, have three players in the line-up; midfield trio Miloš Jojić, Saša Marković and Nikola Ninković have five goals between them during qualifying. Ninkovic also figured against Noel Blake's England side at the UEFA U19 Championship in July, scoring directly from a corner in their 2-1 defeat to the Three Lions.

Serbia arrive in England next week for the first leg at Norwich City's Carrow Road on Friday 12 October (ticket details). The return is four days later in the Serbian town of Krusevac.

Stuart Pearce will confirm his squad for the double-header later this week.
