Chesterfield awaits Under-21s

The Three Lions face Norway in a qualifying decider at Chesterfield on Monday.
England Under-21s have returned from their UEFA 2013 European Championship qualifying victory over Azerbaijan in Baku to prepare for a fixture against Norway at Chesterfield's Proact Stadium on Monday night.
Stuart Pearce's Young Lions need just a point to secure top spot in the group and a coveted play-off place next month, with the Finals in Israel the aim next June.
But Norway, sitting just two points behind England at the summit of Group 8 will know a victory for them will see them through, rather than waiting on a potential 'best runners-up' spot.
“We have only lost one competitive game this qualifying tournament, away in Belgium, and I am keen for it not to happen again,” said Pearce.
“We’d love to see the people of Chesterfield fill out their stadium and help us achieve our ambitions. I am sure they will, as they deserve to see the Under-21s in action after supporting our younger development teams as well as they have.”
Last October Kenny Swain’s U16s beat Northern Ireland 3-1 in the Victory Shield at Chesterfield, drawing a crowd of over 4,000, whilst nearly 10,000 turned out for the first international at the new stadium against Germany’s U19s.
