England Under-21s face Iceland at Preston North End on Monday 28 March in an important preparation game ahed of this summer's European Championship in Denmark.
Stuart Pearce's side are currently ranked number one in Europe, but Iceland will provide a stern test as one of the other seven nations joining the Three Lions at the Finals in June.
“This is another chance for us to assess the squad ahead of the final pick in the summer," said Coach Pearce.
“The fact we’ll be playing another of the qualified nations for this summer’s Championship also means we get an early chance to assess the calibre of the opposition we might be facing.”
The Under-21s have long been blessed with magnificent support from England fans as they tour the nation, and Pearce is hoping for more of the same at Preston.
“We hope to see another full house at Preston on the night, and it’ll be a great chance for the fans to see some emerging talent.
“We’re always grateful of the support and, for the players, there’s nothing better than stepping out into a great atmosphere in front of a full house.”
