England Under-21s defender Craig Dawson believes the squad can use Monday's reverse in Mons to bounce back strongly next year when they re-start their European Championship qualifying campaign.
Stuart Pearce's side looked all set to register their sixth straight win in the group against Belgium after Martin Kelly's goal had given them the lead, only for two late goals from the hosts to turn the match on its head.
Whilst it was a disappointing outcome for the Young Lions, Dawson reckons the result can be used as an incentive for the return fixture against the Belgians in February.
"There was a lot of disappointment in the dressing room, but we need to learn from this game and take it into the next one," the West Bromwich Albion man told FATV.
"It's a bit of a shock to us, but maybe it came at the right time and will and it will knuckle us down a bit.
"But we'll get back together and get back on track."
