Stuart Pearce's men will travel to Botosani for their Euro 2011 play-off.
England Under-21s will play the second leg of their UEFA European Championship play-off against Romania in the city of Botosani on Tuesday 12 October.
The match will decide which team qualifies for next year's Finals tournament in Denmark, and follows hot on the heels of the first leg in England, which will be played at Norwich City's Carrow Road on Friday 8 October.
The north-eastern city of Botosani has hosted several of Romania's recent Under-21 fixtures in its Municipal Stadium, a 12,000 capacity venue which is home to Liga II outfit FC Botosani.
The Three Lions have played away in Romania twice at Under-21 level, but not since 1985 and a 0-0 draw in Brasov. Five years before that Dave Sexton's side lost 4-0 in Ploesti.
The fixture on 12 October will kick-off at 2.30pm local time (12.30pm BST).
Tickets for the first leg at Norwich City on 8 October are currently on sale priced at £10 for adults and just £5 for under 16s and over 60s.
