Spain stopper Sergio Asenjo warns England they're determined to win.
Spain goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo has warned England: 'You must prove your are brave Lions.'
Stuart Pearce's youngsters battled to a 2-1 opening win in Euro 2009 on Monday thanks to goals from Lee Cattermole and Micah Richards.
The victory was made all the more impressive as Michael Mancienne saw red for England following Cattermole's opener and the Young Lions had to play with ten men for the best part of 60 minutes.
Pearce's men would have been interested viewers of Spain's clash with Germany after their victory, and they received a welcome boost as the match ended goalless.
The result puts England in charge at the top of Group B but ahead of the showdown with Spain on Thursday, Valladolid goalkeeper Asenjo says his team-mates are ready to improve on their disappointing opening draw.
"I am only thinking of England now," said Asenjo, following his man of the match performance against Germany.
"I was very comfortable against Germany and I want to repeat this and keep at the same level during the tournament.
"England will face a Spain team who will be daring and brazen on Thursday - we have to learn from the Germany draw and get the three points in our next game."
