Junior Stanislas gets debut as Micah Richards wears armband in Groningen

Stuart Pearce has named his starting line-up for tonight's match against Holland in Groningen with one player making his first appearance for the Under-21s.

West Ham forward Junior Stanislas starts in a wide midfield role as Pearce goes for a 4-5-1 formation.

Stanislas is one of three players who were not in the England squad that travelled to Sweden for the 2009 UEFA European Championship, with Aston Villa new-boy Fabien Delph and Everton's James Vaughan also in the starting eleven.

Micah Richards will captain the side in what is his tenth cap for the Under-21s.

A minute's silence will be held before the game in honour of Sir Bobby Robson who died last month. As well as being England manager, Sir Bobby also coached in Holland during two spells at PSV Eindhoven during the 1990s.
