Sunderland striker believes England can beat anyone on Euro 2013 play-offs.
Connor Wickham says he doesn't mind who England are paired with in Friday's UEFA European Under-21s Championship play-off draw.
The Sunderland striker scored the winning goal for Stuart Pearce's team
against Norway in Chesterfield on Monday. The victory sealed their place as
Group 8 winners, and also ensured the Three Lions go into the draw in Switzerland as one of seven seeded teams in Pot A.
Head Coach Pearce will head to Nyon on Friday to find out who his young side will face in the knockout double-header next month as they eye a fourth consecutive appearance in the Finals, which are held in Israel next June.
"I don't think anyone is bothered about who we'll get," said Wickham. "All the boys know we have the talent in the changing room to beat anyone, no matter who we're drawn against."
"Everyone is just excited and looking forward to finding out who we'll be playing next month. We feel we'll be able to beat whoever is put in front of us."
The 19-year-old was also pleased with his own performances in the Under-21s last two games, as a appearing as a substitute in Azerbaijan last week, and starting against the Norwegians.
"When
I came on against Azerbaijan I thought I did well and set up Jonjo's goal," he said.
"I'm just thankful the manager gave me the chance to do it in front of a home crowd and I paid him back by scoring the winning goal."
"To score the goal that helps us finish top of the group and go into the play-offs as one of the seeded teams was great."
