England Under-21 and Spurs defender Adam Smith makes loan switch to the Den
Tottenham defender Adam Smith has joined Championship side Millwall on a three-month loan.
The 22-year-old full-back made his first-team debut for Spurs as a substitute against Fulham on the final day of the Premier League last season.
Earlier in that campaign, England Under-21 international Smith impressed on loan at League One side MK Dons, scoring two spectacular goals in 22 appearances. He has also enjoyed loan spells with AFC Bournemouth and Leeds United in the past.
He eventually returned to White Hart Lane as cover for Kyle Walker and made that long-awaited debut against the Cottagers in May.
Smith made his Under-21s debut in a friendly against Israel in August last summer and has also been capped at U16, 17, 19 and 20 levels, impressing in the 2011 U20 World Cup in Colombia
