The FA's Head Of Elite Development looks back on his ten days with U20s.

As England U20s progress through to the next stage of the World Cup in Colombia, they do so after waving off one member of the group following the completion of the first round of games.

Gareth Southgate, The FA's Head Of Elite Development, has been with the squad since they arrived in Medellin nearly two weeks ago, joining in with training and team meetings as well as offering advice to the players given his considerable international experience.

Southgate departed the team base in Cartagena on Friday, but not before sitting down with FATV to discuss his trip and what was his first experience of life in South America and at a junior World Cup.
