The focus for Les Reed's Under-20 squad is now very much on this winter's World Youth Championships, to be held in the UAE in November and December...

The tournament will see England compete against the cream of the world's emerging talent and Les is looking forward to giving our youngsters to chance to test themselves against the best.

"I want to make sure that, whatever squad I take, it is full of the most promising young players that we've got coming through," Reed told TheFA.com. "That could well mean that we'll look to fast-track some of the best players from the younger teams into the U-20s in time for this tournament.

"Playing in the World Youth Championships would be a hugely beneficial experience for any of our young England players."
