England U19s continue to prepare on home soil for the European Championship Finals, as they work towards full fitness for next week's opening game against Croatia in Estonia.

Noel Blake's squad have been together since Monday, based in Essex and are using Tottenham Hotspurs' nearby Spurs Lodge facility to train at before flying out to Tallinn on Saturday.

And Thursday afternoon saw the players at work in warm conditions, with a mixture of fitness work, team patterns and possession after that.

Given that most clubs haven't returned for pre-season just yet, the fitness work done by Sports Scientist Matt Grieg takes on even more importance, with three tough group games against Croatia, Serbia and France, starting on Tuesday 6 July.

The U19s secured a place in the Finals courtesy of their Elite Qualifying Round success in May against Switzerland, Montenegro and Slovenia.

They are now into the last eight out in Estonia, with a place in next year's FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey also up for grabs for the six best teams in the Finals.
