England will host the Elite Qualifying Round of the European U19 Championship next May.

After receiving a bye from the first round of qualifiers Noel Blake’s side have been drawn in Elite Round Group 2 alongside Switzerland, who won the U17 World Cup in 2009, Slovenia and Montenegro.

England are hoping to become the first nation to win the U19 title two years after taking the U17 crown, but they must first finish top of this Elite Round group to make it through to the Finals, which are being staged in Estonia next July.

The draw has also been made for the First Qualifying Round of the 2013 European U19 Championship and England have been pitched in Group 12 along with Ukraine, Faroe Islands and host nation Estonia.
