England U19 Head Coach Noel Blake has named his squad for the game with Germany in Chesterfield early next month.
With the UEFA European Championship Elite Round Qualifiers coming up in May, this is the first time he has had chance to look at his options since progressing from the First Qualifying Round in Belgium last October.
Several of the squad who featured in those games are included for this match, to be played in front of a sell-out crowd at the B2net Stadium, with the likes of Jonjo Shelvey, Josh McEachran, Benik Afobe, Jed Steer and Connor Wickham all selected.
Blake has also included a number of the U18 squad who he took charge of last November in a victory over Poland, and players such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Luke Garbutt, Jack Robinson, George Taft, Conor Coady, Tom Thorpe and Jordan Obita have all made the step-up into the U19 squad and will be looking to make an impression.
Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe and West Bromwich Albion defender James Hurst are included in an U19 squad for the first time after winning caps at U16 and U17 level previously, whilst there are first time England call-ups for Manchester City defender Kieran Kennedy and Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha.
Goalkeeper Lee Nicholls will also be hoping to win his first England cap, after being a part of the U19 squad which travelled to the European Championship Finals last summer but not playing.
