England U19s now know exactly how their European Championship Final schedule looks after UEFA released the fixture information for next month’s competition.
The Young Lions were placed in Group A alongside host nation France, the Netherlands and Austria at the draw in Caen last week and the dates and venues have now been finalised.
All of England’s games will be screened live on Eurosport, so for those who can’t make the trip to northern France, you can always follow the fortunes of Noel Blake’s team on television.
They kick-off their campaign on Sunday 18 July when they face Austria in Flers, which is the furthest distance away from their base in Caen out of all the games.
Three days later and England face Holland at the Stade Henry Jeanne in Bayeux before the final group game sees a meeting with France in Stade Louis Villemer in Caen itself on Saturday 24 July.
The format of the competition sees the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-final and whilst a third placed finish in the group will see an exit from the competition, it will be good enough to secure a place in the FIFA U20 World Cup, which is held in Colombia in 2011.
