The England U19 squad that will travel to Belarus next month for the Elite Round of qualifying for the European U19 Championships has been named.

The Young Lions have been placed in Group One and will take on their hosts Belarus along with Serbia and Poland as they aim to reach the Championship Finals, which will be held in the Czech Republic in July summer.

Brian Eastick's team have so far enjoyed a successful season, winning all but one of their seven games.

The first stage of qualifying took place in October when England won all three of their games against Iceland (5-1), Romania (6-0) and Belgium (3-1) to seal their place in the Elite Round.

Further friendly games with Belarus (4-0), Croatia (2-0) and Russia (3-1) have all been won, whilst the solitary reverse came against Germany, who ran out 1-0 victors in Elversberg last November.

New faces in the U19s squad include Daniel Gosling of Everton, Crystal Palace starlet Victor Moses and Manchester United's Daniel Welbeck (pictured above).
