UEFA European U19 Championship
Elite Qualifying Round
May 2007, England

England will face Holland, Czech Republic and Russia in the draw for the Elite Qualifiying Round of the UEFA European U19 Championship which took place in Nyon on Tuesday.

The ties will take place in England from the 15 to 20 May, and only the winners of Group 3 will take their place at the Finals in Austria in July.

Last season the U19s played in Belgium at this round of the competition, coming against extremely strong opposition in Serbia & Montenegro and the hosts Belgium and did not progress to the Finals tournament.

England played Holland at this level in September, drawing 0-0 at the Bescott Stadium, before travelling to Austria for a UEFA Preparatory Tournament where they faced the very best sides in Spain, Austria and Italy.

The dates for the games are as follows:
Tuesday 15 May 2007 - Match day 1
Thursday 17 May 2007 - Match day 2
Sunday 20 May - Match day 3
