Sir Trevor Brooking paid tribute to Martin Hunter after he accepted a job as Norwich first team coach.

Sir Trevor Brooking has paid tribute to National Coach Martin Hunter who is leaving The FA to become First Team Coach at Norwich City.

Hunter has spent 13 years at The FA as coach of several of the England youth teams, most recently coaching the England Under-19s. He has also been delivering The FA's Pro Licence course.

Brooking, The FA's Director of Football Development, said: "Martin has been an excellent National Coach with our development teams and has been a big influence on our coach education programme.

"We will sorely miss him but wish him success with the opportunity that Norwich City have given him."

Hunter will take up his new post at Norwich on 26 June.
