Kean Bryan's first-half goal enough to see off Wales in Tallinn

England U17s made it two wins out of two in Euro qualifying on Tuesday afternoon, as Kean Bryan's first-half goal was enough to secure three points against Wales.

The Manchester City midfielder made a surging run forward before lashing home a long-range shot ten minutes before the break and that proved to be the winner on a cold afternoon in Tallinn.

John Peacock's side had started the First Qualifying Round with a 2-0 win over hosts Estonia on Sunday, so knew that three points from their second game would be enough to see them progress to next year's Elite Qualifying Round with a game to spare.

And they could have won by a greater margin too, with Reise Allassani particularly unlucky with a thunderous shot against the cross-bar just moments before Bryan's goal.

Birmingham City's Reece Brown had a good chance to add a second goal after the break too, but saw his effort well saved by Welsh 'keeper Gareth Owen.

Wales did have their own opportunities though and England had 'keeper Freddie Woodman to thank for denying Keston Davies in second-half stoppage time.

The result means that the Young Lions now go into Friday's final match with Northern Ireland knowing that a win will see them top the table ahead of the Elite Round draw in early December.
