Turgott on target again

Blair Turgott scores winner against England's Elite Round hosts.
For the second Euro qualifier in succession the England U17 team came from a goal down to claim all three points.
Against Northern Ireland on Saturday they fell behind to Seamus McCartan’s 35th-minute goal. However, they equalised before half-time and went on to register a 3-2 victory.
On Monday night against the host nation, Belgium, the Young Lions fell behind once more, this time to Didier Cabumi’s opener in the 37th-minute.
But once again England started their comeback before the break. Crewe Alexandra’s Nick Powell, who scored the third against Northern Ireland, equalised on the stroke of half-time and substitute Blair Turgott, who also scored against the Irish, completed the revival 14 minutes from time.
This victory sets up a winner-takes-all clash with Spain on Thursday. Spain can afford to draw the game as their superior goal difference will see them top Elite Qualifying Round Group 5 at England’s expense (they beat Belgium 3-1 on Saturday and Northern Ireland 5-1 on Monday) so John Peacock’s young charges know what they have to do.
