England U17s Head Coach John Peacock has selected his squad for the first stage of this season's European U17 Championships, which take place later this month.

The Young Lions will face opposition from host nation Bosnia-Herzegovina, Latvia and Holland in the First Qualifying Round in Sarajevo, with the top two nations in the group progressing to next year's Elite Qualifying Round.

Peacock has picked an 18-man squad for the trip which is largely similar to the one which won The FA International Tournament back in August.

This will be the first time that these players will have experienced a competitive international tournament, but with many of them getting a taste of it in competitions such as the Victory Shield last season, the Nordic Tournament in June and then The FA International Tournament in August, they will be growing used to the international tournament environment.

Peacock has enjoyed success in this competition over the years, taking last season's squad to the semi-finals in Serbia and the subsequent World Cup quarter finals, and winning the Euro Championship in 2010.
