UEFA European U17 Championship
Finals
Germany
6-18 May 2009 England U17s now know when they will be in action at next month's European U17 Championship Finals, following last week's initial draw.John Peacock's team found out on Friday that they would be grouped with hosts Germany, Turkey and Netherlands in the Jena region, but have had to wait to find out exactly where and when they would be playing.
That information was released on Monday afternoon though and the Young Lions will face Netherlands in their first game on Wednesday 6 May at Gera.
The second game will see them play Germany in Jena on Saturday 9 May, before they finish their group games against Turkey in Gotha on Tuesday 12 May.
The other group contains Italy, Spain, Switzerland and France who will be playing their games in the Leipzig area and the top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals which are to be held on Friday 15 May before the final takes place in Magdeburg on Friday 18 May.
The Young Lions secured their spot in the last eight of the competition courtesy of an impressive set of results in the Elite Round in March, which saw them finish with a 100 per cent record after victories against Portugal, Serbia and Hungary.
