A Jerome Sinclair goal secures win over France.
England U16s have finished third in the annual Montaigu Tournament.
A first-half goal from Jerome Sinclair handed the Young Lions victory over the host nation, France.
Kenny Swain's side had opened up this year's Montaigu campaign with a 1-1 draw against Japan, followed by a narrow 1-0 win over Morocco.
Only a penalty shoot-out defeat to Russia on Saturday prevented England from making it through to the final and the chance to defend a crown their predecessors won last season.
But Sinclair's 35th-minute strike was enough to secure third place.
