On Wednesday 30 March, Morecambe FC’s Globe Arena will finally get to stage the Victory Shield match between England and Scotland.

The annual U16 international was postponed twice in December due to the severe weather that swept through the British Isles late last year.

Taking place seven days after England’s trip to Northern Ireland, which was also postponed twice, the fixture against Scotland will complete the Victory Shield series.

England lost their Victory Shield opener to Wales in October and drew 0-0 with Slovenia last week in their only other game so far this season.
