England made it two wins out of two in France on Thursday evening, when they won their second Group game against Germany in The Montaigu Tournament.
After kicking-off the competition on Wednesday with a 3-1 victory against Japan, they were in action again just 24 hours later against the Germans.
It was a tighter game throughout on this occasion, but the match was settled in the second half with a late goal from Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong.
The Young Lions now have a rest day before they face USA in Les Brouzils on Saturday afternoon in their final Group game.
