England U16s will finish off their Sky Sports Victory Shield campaign against Scotland at Lincoln City’s Sincil Bank stadium on 28 November.
It will be the first time that the two sides have faced each other since Kenny Swain’s side won the 2007 Victory Shield with a 2-1 win at Falkirk last November.
Swain, who won the European Cup with Aston Villa in 1982, is looking forward to another close game against Scotland’s up and coming SPL stars of the future:
"England against Scotland is always going to be competitive, whatever the level.
"We’ve had some tight games over the last few years but I’m sure that their coach, Ross Mathie, will bring down a confident squad for the game at Lincoln.
"He’s a very experienced coach and knows all about playing England south of the border.
"Like us, they’ve had some up and down years but we’ve had some fierce encounters in the past and we’re looking forward to another exciting game."
England kicked off their Victory Shield defence with a 6-0 win over Northern Ireland earlier this month but Swain is also keen to bring in some new faces as well.
"We’re always looking to change the team around a little and give some playing opportunities to as many youngsters as possible.
"This level of football is all about development so it will be a great experience for our squad to play in front of a big crowd at Lincoln City."
England's second match in the Victory Shield sees them travel to Llanelli to take on Wales. Click here for further details.
