Berahino brace floors Russia

  • The U16 Head Coach watched his side defeat Russia in the opening match of the Montaigu Tournament.

Kenny Swain's U16s began the Montaigu Tournament with a 3-1 win.

England U16s got their Montaigu campaign off to a solid start with a 3-1 dismissal of Russia.

West Brom’s Saido Berahino scored England’s opener after just three minutes before debutant, Jake Bidwell, grabbed a second before the interval. The Baggies forward then grabbed a second midway through the second half to seal the victory.

Kenny Swain’s side now have just 24 hours to prepare for their second Group B match which sees them take on United Arab Emirates.
