England C manager Paul Fairclough has named a 16-man squad to travel to Poland to face what will undoubtedly be a strong Polish U23 side next month.

The game will be played on Tuesday 17 November at the Inter Groclin Auto S.A.Stadium in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, which is around 35 miles from Poznan.

Fairclough has retained nine players from the squad that made the trip to Hungary last month and has recalled six players from previous England C squads, including the Stevenage Borough pair Scott Laird and Michael Bostwick. Also recalled is York City striker Richard Brodie who last wore the Three Lions shirt in Bosnia in 2008.

FC Halifax Town’s 21-year-old goalkeeper Jonathan Hedge is the only newcomer and is the only non Football Conference player in the squad.
