Shwan Jalal, Woking
Goalkeeper, 5 caps
The Iraqi born keeper has been a regular for Woking for a number of seasons and is in outstanding form this season. A superb shot-stopper, he moved from Hastings United to Spurs in June 2000 and made his debut for Woking whilst on loan from the Premiership giants. Woking snapped up Shwan when he was released by Spurs in the summer of 2004. Made his debut when coming on as a substitute for England National Game XI on his home ground against Holland in February 2005.
Lance Cronin, Gravesend & Northfleet
Goalkeeper, 1 caps
Lance earns his first call-up into the England set-up for the game against Holland after a good start to his first season at Gravesend following his arrival from Shrewsbury Town this summer. Rewarded with his first cap as a substitute nine minutes from time. He began his career as a youth at Crystal Palace where he progressed to the reserve team before he made a first team appearance for Wycombe whilst on loan. In November 2005 he left Palace for a brief spell at Oldham before moving on to Gay Meadow.
Arran Lee-Barrett, Weymouth

Arran began his career as an apprentice at Norwich City. He then moved to Cardiff City when he found himself as fourth choice keeper. Now in his second season at Weymouth he will be hoping for regular first team football. Arran has been very much a part of the excellent start to this season that Weymouth have enjoyed in the Football Conference. Made his England debut against Holland in November 2006.
Kieran Charnock, Northwich Victoria

22-year-old Kieran joined Northwich from Wigan Athletic at the start of the 2003/04 season. He began his career at Wigan as a member of the youth system progressing to the reserve team and becoming their regular captain. He is a strong defender and in the past year has become an established member of the England National Game XI – he was an ever present last season for Paul Fairclough’s unbeaten team. Kieran has very quickly racked up almost 150 appearances for Vics and netted his first goal for the club in October 2006.
Michael Morrison, Cambridge United
Defender, 1 caps
A first call up for 18-year-old Michael against Holland and he made his debut as a second half sub. Made his debut for his club’s reserve team when still only a 15-year-old schoolboy. Made 22 appearances last season and has already secured a regular place in Jimmy Quinn’s first team. His performances have attracted the attention of a number of Premier League and Championship clubs.
Scott Griffiths, Dagenham and Redbridge

Another new face in the England squad, Scott joined the Daggers in 2004 from Aveley and has since made the left-back position his own. Scott has already played for Paul Fairclough in an FA XI game against Middlesex Wanderers in May 2005. Made his debut against Holland in 2006.
Adam Quinn, Halifax Town
Defender, 2 caps
Having begun his career at Sheffield Wednesday, Adam has been with Halifax Town since 2002 and is a regular first-teamer. A solid and highly competent central defender with over 130 appearances for the club, this is his first taste of international football. Earned his first cap against Holland in 2006.
Adam Yates, Morecambe
Defender, 1 caps
Adam began his career at Crewe Alexandra and spent time on loan at Halifax Town in the Nationwide Conference before moving to Leek Town. He joined Morecambe from Leek just before the start of the 2006/07 season. The attacking right-back, spent time on trial at both Morecambe and Altrincham in pre-season but chose to move to Christie Park. Had his first call up to the England squad for the match against Holland where he collected his first cap.
Craig Stanley, Morecambe
Midfielder, 4 caps
Craig joined Morecambe in the summer after beginning his career with Walsall. He was an integral member of the Hereford United side that clinched promotion to the Football League after play-off victories over his future Morecambe team and Halifax Town in the 2005/06 season. He won two caps in 2005 against Republic or Ireland and Wales and then in his third match, against Holland in 2006, skippered the side.
Lewis Chalmers, Altrincham
Midfielder, 1 caps
Lewis is a young midfielder who, as well as possessing a good touch, is strong in the air and has a prodigious long-throw. He made his full debut in March 2005 and by the end of 2004/05 he had become a regular member of the first-team squad. Lewis is also a useful centre-back and was rewarded with his first cap against Holland in 2006.
Michael Carr, Northwich Victoria
Midfielder, 7 caps, Goals 1
The Vics’ midfielder made five appearances for England last season and scored his first goal in the 2-0 win over Republic of Ireland in the Four Nations Tournament in Eastbourne. A former Macclesfield Town trainee he went on to make eleven first team appearances for the Silkmen before joining Vics in January 2005.
George Boyd, Stevenage Borough (now Peterborough)
Midfielder, 7 caps
George is a product of the clubs youth system and the 20-year-old winger has continued to make great strides this season after his breakthrough season in 2004/05. He has five caps to his name so far and played in all three of the games in May’s Four Nations Tournament. Scored eleven goals for Stevenage last season.
Craig Mackail-Smith, Dagenham and Redbridge (Now Peterborough)
Midfielder, 7 caps, 4 goals
The Dagenham midfielder has become a regular in the past couple of years for the England National Game XI. He scored twice last season in the win over Italy at Cambridge and then again in the most recent game, a 2-0 win over Scotland in May. He has already scored nine times this season in Dagenham’s excellent start to this campaign.
Steve Morison, Stevenage Borough
Forward, 2 caps, 1 goal
Steve Morison joined Stevenage Borough from Bishop's Stortford, for whom he had proved excellent at finding the net. Originally starting his career at Northampton Town, Morison has experience of playing, and scoring, in the Football League, which he has demonstrated so far this season with nine goals for the Boro. Scored his first goal for England, a penalty, in his debut against Holland.
Clayton Donaldson, York City
Forward, 2 caps
Clayton has enjoyed an excellent start to this season with eleven goals to his name. This follows 16 last season where he enjoyed a deadly partnership with former England striker Andy Bishop, now at Bury. He begun his career as a trainee at Hull City and had loan spells at Scarborough, Halifax and Harrogate Town before joining York in the summer of 2005. Made his debut as a sub against Holland in 2006.
Dennis Oli, Grays Athletic

Dennis was a regular member of the England squad last season winning 4 caps and scoring in the Four Nations Tournament win over Republic of Ireland in May. He also led Grays to their second consecutive FA Trophy Final win, scoring at Upton Park in the 2-0 win over Woking. Started his career at QPR and, after short spells at Swansea and Cambridge United, signed for Grays in November 2004.
Giuseppe Sole, Woking

18-year-old Guiseppe has been a prolific scorer in youth football prior to breaking into the first team at Woking in August. He has since notched eight goals this season, form which has been rewarded with his first cap for the England team against Holland. Giuseppe is an exciting prospect for the future

Joined Exeter in 2005 after being released by Kidderminster, Billy’s consistent performances at left back have earned him a place in Paul Fairclough’s squad where he will be hoping to make his England debut. Billy began his career as a trainee at Leyton Orient where spent over 5 years and made over 70 appearance in the Football League before moving on to Kiddy.
Ryan Austin, Burton Albion

Ryan made his debut for England last season in the win against Ital;y at Cambridge, he member of Burton Albion’s successful FA Cup run last season, Ryan begun his career at Crewe before being released and joining Burton. He overcame a career threatening knee injury which made him miss most of the 2003/04 season. He signed permanently at the end of last season and has since established himself as a regular fixture at the heart of the Burton defence.
Dan Woodards, Exeter City

A former trainee and reserve team regular with Chelsea who left the club in 2005, to join Exeter following a short spell at Wycombe Wanderers. This is Dan’s first call up to the England squad and the defender will be hoping to establish himself in the squad as well as help Exeter back into the Football league.
Michael Kightly, Grays Athletic (Now Wolves)

A member of Grays' FA Trophy winning team from last season, Michael joined Grays in the summer of 2005 from Southend United where he spent 2 years as a trainee. The Basildon born attacking midfielder has already scored 10 goals this season and hopes to cap his excellent performances with his first cap for England.
Les Afful, Forest Green Rovers

The Forest Green forward earned his first England cap for the European Challenge Trophy match against Holland after a good start to his debut season with Rovers. Born in Liverpool, Les started his career with Exeter City and enjoyed a short loan spell with Torquay United before signing at Nympsfield Road in the summer of 2006.
