England defender Rachel Unitt has joined the New Jersey Wildcats as their final signing of the 2005 season.
Unitt, who follows hot on the heels of Three Lions team-mate Rachel Yankey who went Stateside last week, was signed on Wednesday's W-League registration deadline.
The Everton left-back will see out the remainder of the season with the Wildcats and she'll return to Merseyside in time for the start of the Premier League season in August.
With Canadian defender and Wildcats stalwart Janine Willis out for the season with a torn ACL knee injury, Unitt is expected to step right into the starting lineup for the Wildcats.
"Adding Rachel is a great move for the Wildcats especially with the injury to Janine leaving us without a natural left-sided defender," said Wildcats General Manager Patric Santo Pietro.
"We're also looking forward to having an all-England left side of the field with the two Rachels. It should be great to watch."
The Wildcats are in League action on Saturday when they face the New Hampshire Lady Phantoms at the Southern New Hampshire University where Rachel is expected to make her debut.
