England's U21s are heading for Milton Keynes to play the first international at the new stadiummk in November.
Stuart Pearce's U21 side will take on Bulgaria in a qualifier for the Euro 2009 tournament having made an impressive start to their campaign with back-to-back wins in Montenegro and Bulgaria earlier this month. The match on Friday 16 November kicks off at 6pm and tickets are priced just £10 for adults and £5 concessions.
It will be the first time that any England team have appeared at the home of the MK Dons since they first moved to their new stadium at the start of 2007-08 campaign and the Three Lions will be hoping to build on their opening two victories in qualifying Group Three.
The U21 team features a host of rising Premiership stars including captain Steven Taylor from Newcastle United, Aston Villa hotshot Gabriel Agbonlahor, West Ham midfielder Mark Noble and Arsenal's Theo Walcott.
Speaking about the game, England U21 coach Stuart Pearce said: "We are looking forward to playing at the impressive new stadium in Milton Keynes in what will be an important qualifier.
"It's an excellent opportunity to take England around the country with the U21 team and I hope people in the area will turn out in big numbers to support us."
The U21 team drew many plaudits for their performances during the summer in the U21 Championship in Holland when they were agonisingly defeated in the semi-finals by eventual winners Holland in a nailbiting 13-12 penalty shootout.
Prior to their trip to stadiummk, England will face Montenegro at Leicester City's Walkers Stadium on 12 October before travelling to Ireland for another qualifier on 16 October ahead of the Milton Keynes fixture.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 26 September from the Ticket Hotline 01908 622900, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, or in person from the ticket office at stadiummk.
Box Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 10am until 5pm and matchdays until half-time. Enquiries for supporters coach parking should be directed to Matt Cove at matt.cove@mkdons.com or call 01908 622902.
