UEFA European U21 Championship
Two-legged Playoff

England's Under-21s will face Germany in their UEFA European Championship playoff as they look to secure their place at the finals in Holland next year.

Peter Taylor's side dramatically booked their place in the draw on Wednesday evening with a last-minute 3-2 win over Switzerland, with goals from Theo Walcott, David Nugent and James Milner.

The draw was made in Nyon this afternoon and the full list sees a number of interesting ties, with Italy taking on Spain and Russia playing Portugal.

Each tie will be played over two legs with the first leg being played on 6 October, with England at home, and the return being played four days later on 10 October.
