Denmark v England
International U21 Friendly
SAS Arena, Herning
6.00pm (BST), 16 August 2005

Middlesbrough's Andrew Taylor has been called up to Peter Taylor's England U21 squad to face Denmark in a friendly match in Herning next Tuesday.

Taylor, who is currently on loan at Bradford City, comes in to the party after Tottenham Hotpur's Tom Huddlestone and Fulham's Liam Rosenior.

The match is England's last before they face two crucial European U21 Championship qualifiers away to Wales and Germany next month. Taylor's team currently sit top of their group with four wins and two draws from their first six qualification matches.

Denmark are one of Europe's form teams at the moment and, like England, are top of their qualifying group, with 22 points from a possible 24.

However England are unbeaten in nine U21 matches against Denmark going back to the sides' first meeting in September 1978.
