It's good news for the Reading faithful as local boy Nathan Tyson gets the nod to make his England debut in the famous number nine shirt.

Apart from Fulham's Dean Leacock, who also makes his bow at the level, Les Reed has named an experienced line up with a fair degree of responsibility being placed on the talented trio of Michael Chopra, John Welsh and Darren Carter.

Arsenal's stylish defender Ryan Garry will skipper the side.

Here's that starting line-up:

1. Andrew Lonergan - Preston
2. Justin Hoyte - Arsenal
3. Leon Hylton - Aston Villa
4. Ben Bowditch - Spurs
5. Dean Leacock - Fulham
6. Ryan Garry - Arsenal
7. Michael Chopra - Newcastle United
8. John Welsh - Liverpool
9. Nathan Tyson - Reading
10. Darren Carter - Birmingham City
11. Brian Howard - Southampton

England under-20 coach Les Reed is looking forward to the next match in his side's series of internationals which sees his young Lions take on Germany at the Madejski Stadium tonight.

A crowd upwards of 20,000 is expected to cheer Reed's team on, and for both the coach and the players, tonight is an important match as preperation for the World Youth Championships continues.

Those Championships are being held in the United Arab Emirates in March and April.

"I'm looking for a lot of team spirit and togetherness tonight," said Reed.

"I've been working with the squad all week which has been crucial in preparing the team for tonight's match and furthuring our preparation for the World Youth Championships. By the end of the week I hope to have a dozen or so names for my squad for the UAE and so tonight really is an opportunity."
