A brace from West Ham United striker Freddie Sears saw England U19s get off to a winning start against Poland in the Elite Round of qualifying for the European U19 Championships.
In the first of three games for Brian Eastick's team this week, Sears opened the scoring just before the half hour mark to give the Young Lions a lead at the break.
The win was secured five minutes from time when Sears added his second goal from the penalty spot.
England are in action again on Wednesday morning when they face Serbia at the same venue.
