England take on the French at the home of Barnsley FC on Thursday 18 November, kick-off 7.30pm, looking for a confidence boosting win to take into the second stage of the UEFA Under-19 European Championship qualifying rounds early next year.

Martin Hunter’s young charges have recorded a 2-0 victory over Northern Ireland and a 1-1 draw against the Czech Republic in their last two outings and the England Under-19 boss is hoping a large crowd will turn out at Oakwell to cheer England to victory against France.

The last squad included some of the most exciting young talent in the country including Tottenham's Phil Ifil and Middlesbrough's James Morrison (above), who have both seen Premiership action this year.

Indeed Morrison was a goalscoring hero for Boro last night as he headed in his side's second goal in a 3-0 win over Coventry City.

Also in the squad last time out was the prodigiously talented Ipswich striker Dean Bowditch (below) and from tomorrow you can book your place in the stadium to see the next generation of English talent.

Tickets are priced at just £3 for adults (£5 on day of the game) and £1 for children under 16 for this fixture, whilst family’s can purchase two adult and two children tickets for just £5 (advance bookings only).

Speaking ahead of the game England Under-19 manager, Martin Hunter, said: "Barnsley is a massive football town and there’s always a fantastic atmosphere at Oakwell when an England team visits, and I’m expecting the same warm welcome this time round.

"England versus France are always special fixtures and I’d urge all Barnsley’s football fans to come down and cheer on the lads and make this game one to remember."
