The First Qualifying Round was concluded earlier in the week and the draw has placed the remaining 24 sides in to seven groups of four.

England were one of three sides to qualify automatically for this stage of the competition and now will look to finish in top spot in Group 1, which carries with it a place in next summer's final tournament in Northern Ireland.

Martin Hunter's side will face Moldova, Denmark and Sweden with the hosts and dates of the various games yet to be determined.

England failed to qualify for the Finals in Switzerland last year, but did reach the Finals in each of the previous two seasons.

Indeed, England won the U19 European Championship back in 1993 when it was still under the guise of the U18 European Championship, and that win in Nottingham was the last time England have won an major international championship.
